But I have to admit that was a while ago - mid summer - when I compared the two. The RBZ Tour is deeper face, but is still It is not as deep as the old superdeep so it is much more forgiving. The regular rbz is kind of like the old r7 HT. You should try to get on a launch monitor to test both with the same shaft before you make up your mind.
If you are spinning in the rpm with the regular RBZ, the tour should knock it down. It is crazy.. Honestly if I hit it well I don't care about the noise! My son used the Tour Ive had both and really like this head s , as hot as anything out period. The reg is straighter on heel or toe shots and is mid high flight with lowish spin while the tour is a little lower flight but similar spin within rpm.
In response to the soft feeling, it does have it but only on flushed shots. It's a little less forgiving than the regular. It's the longest and straightest driver I've owned so if you find the right shaft give it a try. The Rbz Tour driver performed better for me than the standard rbz.. If you catch it in the sweet spot, I don't think the sound is that bad.
